Its very common problem that our pendrive being affected by viruses. The most common problem is turning your folder or files into shortcut and original being deleted. But that is not what actually happened. Your files and folders are still safe, its just an illusion. These viruses change our file property to hidden, made them system file and others so that even if we do show hidden files it wont display. So its important to change those attributes of files.
The most common viruses are:
* Autorun.inf
* new folder.exe
* Iexplorer.vbs
* Bha.vbs
* nfo.exe
* New_Folder.exe
* ravmon.exe
* RVHost.exe or any other files with extension.
Now its an action time.
Following simple dos command will change the
attributes of
these files ,there after you can remove it by
pressing delete
key.
Follow these steps:
Step1.:Type cmd in Run
Step2.: Switch to the drive on which pen drive is
connected, the driver label of your pendive
(like C:\> h: , if your pendrive has h drive label, or generally speaking, your pendrive is h drive)
Step3.: type exactly as attrib -s -h *.* /s /d
and hit enter (don't forget spaces).
Now you can see hidden virus files and you can delete them and enjoy.
